Earthy Plate is passionate about providing genuine hospitality, healing recipes, and recently unearthed whole foods ingredients from the most local farmers that we can.

We're committed to making minimal impact to the environment.

In order to achieve these high standards and extraordinary attentiveness to our customers, that requires time and that prioritizes shopping with folks who share our vision.

This means that we're going the extra mile to source our organic grains from the refill shops to avoid plastic packaging, purchasing our meats grass-fed and our fish wild-caught, sourcing sustainably produced top quality oils and spices, going to the farmers market and paying a few dollars more for local produce, the list goes on.

We understand that you get what you pay for, and we may not be for everyone, but we warmly welcome those of you that resonate with what we do.

Seasonality of Ingredients

Until now, humans have never been eating the same foods year round. We’ve evolved with diets that change depending on the seasons, eating what’s available in our area. Turns out, that’s better for our gut flora anyway. We support independent local farmers first which allows us to use the best seasonal heirloom ingredients. Because we focus on what’s fresh and available at the farmers market, this means we’ll be changing up your meals weekly. It’s unlikely that you’ll grow bored of eating the same thing!

An Individual-Centered Approach

Our personalized meals for the week offers a unique array of dishes, hyper-tailored and responsive to your needs and preferences. Once we get your order, you’re forwarded to complete your Nutritional Profile, which is the guide that your personal chef uses when curating your meals. This profile gives us a detailed vision of what kind of eater you are and provides us essential information on your dietary needs.

We understand that you might want to have more of a choice in your order for the week, so we have various a la carte options. Experience Earthy Plate’s fresh flavors and gentle cooking techniques.

Wellness In Interest

Earthy Plate delivers meals that are free of gluten, dairy, seed oils, and refined sugar. We’re with you in wanting less inflammatory foods in our diet, especially when they’re ingredients that are easy to replace with less aggressive alternatives. Inflammation is at the root of almost all disease. We use whole foods ingredients and amp up the foods that support cognitive function and decrease inflammation. On top of this baseline, we go above and beyond in educating ourselves on new health research findings.

Our mission is to make it easy for you to have a weekly routine of nutrient-dense and body-supportive foods.

Growers & Producers:

Cropthorne Farm grows really huge and colorful lettuces. We buy those almost every week. They have an incredible squash selection and white carrots which are sweet and divine. Their certified organic farm is on Westham Island (close to Ladner, BC) but you can find their veggies at the Vancouver Farmers Markets and through their CSA.

Forstbauer Farm is a certified organic and biodynamic farm in Chilliwack, BC that puts soil quality first. They view the farm as a whole organism, the plants and soil representing organs that need to be all healthy to stay sustainable as a unit. We love their squash blossoms, lettuces, and flowering herbs.

Ice Cap Organics is where we get the rich purple kale, rainbow chard, and orange cauliflower. They’re growing certified organic goodies in Pemberton. Quick tip: they also have affordable and gorgeous flowers at the West End farmers market on Saturdays.

Myca Farms is an excellent gourmet mushroom grower in Glen Valley. They have a colorful variety of options including nootropic lion’s mane, different colored oyster mushrooms, chestnuts, etc. Their chef’s box is incredible. Order a box directly or find them popping up in the Downtown farmers markets.

Snowy Mountain Farms is a certified organic farm located in Similkameen Valley, BC that uses old school farming techniques that respect land and animals alike. We catch them at the farmers markets and buy their hearty root vegetables.
